I'd not thought about it before but I think sign rap works really well! I liked the video too, nicely balancing humour and content. A bit edgy for some I appreciate but I reckon the guy did well there.

no one would think of asking the same thing about a spoken language. I think people don't really believe sign is a real language

I must admit, I had no real idea about sign until I looked closer at it. I don't remember what I thought in honesty, but I could easily have thought a sign was just a mime of the spoken word. If I was going to go back to university it would probably be to study sign languages, and gesture generally. I think of it as another window to studying the mind.
