From October-Feb I switch from an all road route with hills to a towpath route that is flat
The towpath has been resurfaced which is ace, the only issue is unlit cyclists coming the opposite direction!
Its still quicker than by car / or as quick.
My towpath is half gravel / mud, half surfaced, so get filthy this time of year, hence the switch to a slightly different route that is surfaced.
