Lord Denning was born just up the road from here in Whitchurch. Next to the house he was born in is a bakers. Unfortunately they decided to call it "The Village Bakery" even though Whitchurch is in a town. I would have gone with "Master of the Rolls".

About the best we have here is 'The Cutty Sark' pub. But then, the Cutty Sark was built here in Dumbarton, so it isn't much of a surprise really!

A Water Cooler supply company was called H2 Eau.... [but sadly business dried up].
My barbers doesn't operate an appointment system... it's simply called "Q"

Nothing too amazing about that, I know, but I have decided that I'll buy my next winter bike from them. Support local businesses and all that (although it probably won't be until the new year now).

There's a bicycle swap meet in Brisbane called "Pushies Galore". I'm sure there used to be a shop there by the same name.

A bike shop in Darwin is called "Deadly Treadlies" (Deadly is used to mean Very Good or Excellent by Aboriginal Australians).
