Hoping to do LEJOG next year and have been working on a route but really strugging to find a suitable route for the first leg - Land's End to anywhere about 100 miles away, bearing in mind that I want to finish the 2nd leg in Glastonbury.

Really want to avoid the A30 and any 5* hills.

Any suggestions?

that was all the proposed routes - we went wrong abit on a few days including day 1 but i have the actual route we took as a 6.7mg file whats too big for here - if you email or something i will email it back to you -- be warned though day 1 was without doubt the hardest day climb wise -- on the bright side once you do that one you know you can do anything it throws at you - just seen put 1 on twice and missed one out but if you only want day 1 thats no prob

And a great site it is....I can thoroughly recommend it , thanks Rob

Thanks!

... The Directory of accommodation etc on the site s slowly getting established ... could always do with recommendations and listings - apart from "which way shall I go" the main questions I get are about availability of B&Bs etc

Just to be pedantic - the site has nothing to do with CTC ... it's me! - running it as a hobby and putting something back into cycling.

Lots of resources ... and even ready-to-print and follow maps. www.cycle-endtoend.org.uk
