Just wondering when you last used one?

I'm not nosey enough to ask what you got out or did there but if you feel like sharing then feel free.

I have spells of using my local library, in fact I plan to pop in tomorrow as I am in town. No idea what I want, but I like a browse.

The mobile library has a stop about 50m from our house, so I go in there if I'm around on a Thursday. Probably been about 4 months, though.

Used mobile library within last 5 years but not visited main facility for a long time. Found an overdue book on a shelf last week - Ben Hogan: Modern Fundementals of Golf due for return 7 June 1978.

Much longer than I thought !!

Last week. Ten books is the maximum - used to be three when I was a boy . All signed out with a swipe of a Borough 'Gold card'. Can be renewed online at a click. (Although I always pay the fine as I think I'm contributing )
A rediscovered activity of the past year.

I've been to the Library three or four times this year for OS maps.

Several years. I'm an avid reader, but tend just to buy things from Amazon and charity shops. I keep most of the non-fiction stuff and a fair bit of the fiction (the house is getting a bit full) and recycle the rest back to charity shops.

Every couple of weeks for the last 40 years - what's the point in buying books when there are hundreds available for free in the library?!!!

And I'll be in there this morning running a free internet taster session for older people.

My last sortie was for the OS 'segment' from London to Swansea, coincidentally. Unsurprisingly, the one missing was No: 159...
...noted for the seaserpents and dragons and the portions marked 'here be beasties'.

One thing. The library in Brixton is always full of young people studying. It's sometimes difficult to get a seat.
