Recommended by me :okay: Had one now for about 4 or 5 years, still going strong, a great piece of kit

Seems cheaper than the one I bought 4+ years ago. If it's as good it's well worth getting. I use mine every few weeks, fettling, tweaking and cleaning a range of bikes from MTB's to granddaughters bikes.
Just noticed it has Q/R clamp so different to mine.

Excellent, Thanks for the heads-up as I've been waiting for one for ages

I think they might have been 29.99 quid. I bought mine around the same time. (When I don't need or fancy bike work, I use them for hanging laundry on.)

As you probably know they go very quickly, you can sometimes pick them up the night before if they are putting out stock

They're back http://www.lidl.co.uk/en/our-offers-2491.htm?action=showDetail&id=32042 sorry if it's already been posted, I did look and couldn't see it. Mon 21st
At last, I managed to get one before they all went. Great quality and very sturdy. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much for £25. Unfortunately the person who picked it up for me hadn't noticed that the box had been re-sealed and there was a quick release lever/bracket missing. Not a big problem, as Lidl have told me that the manufacturer will post me one out. To be honest, for £25 it wouldn't bother me if I had to fix it myself really.

My local one has some on sale today at £19.99.
I have one already (bought for a tenner more, several years back). They're great quality, and I find it indispensable for fettling and suchlike. :okay:
I've had one for five years and it's still going strong. One slight flaw is that, if you grip the frame by the seat post or seat tube, there is a likelihood that the bike will tilt forward, especially on a heavy bike. I've got around this by fitting an S-hook on a length of cord to the roof of the shed and hooking this around the stem or bars, and it now holds the heaviest bikes firmly.
i drilled 2 holes so you can lock the tubes with a pin so they cant turn..less stress on the clamps too so it will not snap due to king kong torque..

I agree. I can't believe that I struggled for so many years without one. My Single Speed bike was a particular pain, as the lack of gear cables meant that the bars turned more easily when it was leaning against a wall and down it would go with the saddle always scraping down the brickwork
