Anyone have any good method of attaching a rear LED light to the back of a pannier rack?

The supplied fittings are all for the seatpost which, on my bike, is not practical.

Depends a bit on your light.. Cateye and Smart both make a rear pannier fitting for the end of the pannier rack. Or do as someone did to my pannier and sort of make a right angle bracket, and disemble your light fitting and screw the fitting onto it?

I used a seat stay mount a few times (its a narrower diameter) to mount an LED to my racks there's also the specific ones mentioned above.

I used a section of old inner tube wrapped around the pannier tube until the diameter was sufficiently large for the designed-for-seatpost holder to grip it properly. It's a Smart 1/2 Watt rear light.
