Lightweight cheap 4mantent or two 2man tents

Can anyone recommend lightweight tents for a LEJOG tour.


Dont want a fancy tent, tbh if it only last for the one trip that is all we need.

We are doing LEJOG in june and are after either a 4man or 2 2man tents

Weight, fully packed dimensions and price all need to be low. Quality doesnt need to be great as long as it will do the job for 10 - 14 days.

I think that you will find some good advice on 2x2 vs 4 on this thread, and some good recommendations there and on this thread.

That 2 man tent is still too much to be honest.

Seriously! Its lightweight, pop up, and has the guide wires etc for support. I presume its waterproof lol..... Surely this will do for approx 8 nights in June? (were staying in friends family for the other 2 days).


Does anyone have one of these, surely it will do the job? We're young 21 year olds so are not after a portable palace lol!

You said yourself fully packed dimensions need to be low as did the weight and price

Small ~ Lightweight and cheap do not go together

Just saying, a bit of friendly of advice without the sarcastic jokes would be nice.
