I've been a using Wintel since God was a twinkle in his father's eye. However now I've been using an Android phone for a few years most of my life is sans Microsoft. I like Ubuntu and have dual booted for a while, however when Windows does an update and reboots SWMBO is faced with a login screen she doesn't understand.

So my question is, because my better half uses Windows mainly for playing Age of Empires, is there any way I can set up an icon in Ubuntu that will launch a VM and then run AoE seemlessly? I literally want a double click....

TIA

I would think that your best option owuld be to use VMware Player & install Windows in that then leave it running & simply use a remote desktop app to access the Windows machine.
