Can it be used on the adjusting cup of a bb as I do not have any anti sieze grease and my LBS does not have it in stock

Not an expert in these matters, Copaslip seems to work OK in stopping things seizing.

No. Its poo. Dries up then you've got salty Paste all over your threads. Avoid.

Agreed! I used White Lithium grease on the threads of stem bolts and seatpost bolts etc. I also used it to 'waterproof' a rear light, smearing a thin coat where the front attaches to the back of the light to form a seal. In these places, after not too long, the grease had dried and become very chalky and brittle. Anyone remember white dog pooh?

I think its application on moving parts may be better, but don't use it on fixed parts. Just get some other grease when you have chance.

I use Castrol LM Lithium Grease. I've never seen it turn chalky or dry.
