Our local council employs a guy who goes round and picks up all litter on the streets. Where I live he never seems to get much but the streets are immaculate.
A few years ago a farmer had a gate blocked by a flytipper. He sifted through the rubbish and found out who it belonged to. Gathered it into a truck and dumped it on the offending business doorstep. Turned out they had paid somebody to take it to the official dump but they took the cash and just dumped it free.
