Liverpool Chester liverpool

Thinking of this for my first 50 sportive anybody done this ? Not too far from home and daughter lives in Liverpool fancy riding through the tunnel also half way at countess of Chester so really 2 25 mile rides

It's well marshalled and sign posted, it's very enjoyable.
Just watch out for impatient car drivers who have been sitting behind cyclists all day long.
Done it 3 times now, just save a little back for the final climb out of the tunnel

Did it a few years ago, fairly pleasant and relatively flat. Speed in the tunnel can be deceptive with lots of other cyclists around, so take it easy at the start.
