Lock it or...

Lady in the office opposite me has just got a lovely bling new Pinnacle Hybrid to ride to work on. It even has deep section white wheels. Looks amazing !

Whereas she used to lock up her bashed up old Raleigh MTB to the steel railings, she uses her D-lock through the frame only, and locks the Pinnacle to an unsecured plastic downpipe.

I don't know her at all, just managed to say good morning today and was ignored, so I don't know how to suggest she locks her new bike up properly without sounding like a twonk...

Thankfully it's not a high crime area and the place is overlooked - looking on the bright side I suppose they will take her bike before they try to take mine.

I'd never be able to ride it to work though, and it's a girl's bike... !!

next time you see her talk about her bike and then drop a convo about her lock and suggest to her she should lock it up safer.

No feelings at all .. I am happily married & she is not a patch on my missus !

Sensible question though.

I appreciate some might say this thread is meaningless without pictures but am not sure whether they would mean of her, or of the bike... !!
