A very good Kiwi friend of mine has had enough of good old blighty and has decided to move home to New Zealand. He contacted me for help and I was more than happy to help him out with booking an airline ticket. But Adam would rather take the scenic route and cycle home to Wellington.
He is well on his way and has covered over 8000km. At time of writing this he is currently in Turkmenistan heading for Ashgabat, Tashkent and Bishkek. Adam is a builder by trade not a professional cyclist and sees this as challenge!!!
I have provided some links to his Facebook, google map and just giving pages. If you have time and could spend a few minutes reading his blog you will see what a fascinating journey he has had so far and maybe drop him a line of support, I am sure he would appreciate it. All my nieces and nephews and their friends are following his progress on google maps.
As I said Adam sees this a personal challenge but he has set up donation page for those of you that would like to show their support. I know that just £1.00 will make a big difference to his morale and keep his pedals turning. All proceeds will go to Asthma UK.
