Long Distance Cycling??

A group of us are thinking of doing this new event, saw it in the Telegraph on Saturday - Ride across Britain.

Has anybody done the route? I have never done anything that long before and it's a bit daunting so any tips would be good!

It's just a variation on JoGLE. Peeps do it frequently - admittedly most take longer than nine days...

Quite expensive Taking the whole family off on holiday for 2 weeks for about the same
But would be a lot of fun, I reckon
