A few times a year I have to attend meetings at another site (around 18 miles away from where I work)

This would be a great opportunity for me to get in some extra cheeky miles, but I have quite long hair, and after a ride (especially a relatively hilly one) it tends to look pretty skanky.

Besides seeing if I can shower on the other end, any advice or tips?

Have considered dry shampoo but not sure if it would cut the mustard

What do you mean by "skanky"? Would giving it a good brush/comb fix matters? Do you usually wear you hair held back in some way, or loose?

It depends how long your hair is. My hair is tied into a bun at the nape of my neck on bike rides, to keep it out of the way. When I undo it, it looks fine, although I normally just keep it tied back for work.

Men + long hair = :stop:
Oddly I never had a problem with it.. it was the early 90s and grunge was big in the world... (lights up his pipe and slips on his slippers)..

I digress

Clippers, no 1 minimum. You'll look smart, a man in control of his coiffure, a man to be reckoned with, and you won't be nearly so manky. Go the whole way and Bic it and you'll only need a shamois leather to stay on top form!

Cycling 18 miles to a meeting without a shower at the end?

It might be worth asking whether people notice any other personal hygiene points other than your hair.

This isn't a suit and tie meeting is it?

Having had a host of "interesting" hairdo's** in my life, I don't welcome advice from others on my hairstyle, unless they are sleeping with me. And even then, they better tread carefully

So I apply the same rule to myself about other people's hair. I might suggest a comb or a trim if I was sure it would be welcome or it was an important event, but would never suggest a fundamental restyle was in order; unless I was planning to sleep with them, and the hair style was a deal breaker.

@Drago, @mwktar - maybe you are about to get lucky. (I may get murdered for this post)

**regret I left it too late to shave my head. Unfortunately, I'd just be mistaken for an cancer sufferer now.
