I've been teaching my daughter how to do this, so far her vocabulary is kitty, daddy, mummy, pretty, 'that' and khaaaaaannnn. She does the action too!

I've been hedging my bets in that direction, @fossyant, both my kids got to level 3 kayak / canoe skills with the BCU this summer (Thing 1 wants to be an instructor next year!), and I passed level 1 a couple of weeks ago.

It has barely started here. Yesterday was the first time I've cycled in to work in the rain, and I've only got wet once on my way home too. I'm sitting outside a café in Windsor drinking coffee at the moment.

Git ! Hissed it down on the way in, sun at 10am, now hissing down again. Stuff drying slowly on a barely warm radiator - I'm on site so lucky to even find a radiator !
