Came a long way home today, 30 miles, with a big climb at the start out of Sheffield, to top of Ringinglow and over the other side to Foxhouse, for those who know it. That was hard work, but didn't get off or stop so pleased.
Descending on the hybrid is not a comfy experience, brakes feel like they can't stop me, and at one point cyclemeter said I was doing 48 mph, not sure about that, but high 30's was more like it.
Enjoyed a lot although the start was tough, I picked a nasty short hill I used to run up as a test and was chuffed to get up that. Tired now though, and glad it's a rest day from the bike tomorrow, Next ride will get me over 500 miles since getting the bike at end of April, almost a stone lost as well :-)
