Hi All,

Currently researching for our annual spring time long weekend ride for 2019 and I 'm a bit stumped this year. As a guide, we've done the typical London to.... Paris/Amsterdam/Bruges, toured Snowdonia, toured the wine regions of France, C2C'd through the lakes/dales and moors and other similar road bike A to B's and mtb touring/bikepacking weekends. So the question is.... what does everyone suggest as a great long weekend bike trip? What's been your favourite? Happy to do lightweight mountain climbs although in April we may have to contend with snowy caps. Happy to pack bivvy bags/tents and camp, and pretty much anywhere in Europe is a possibility. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Ross.

Any way you can get away for a bit longer? You say you are happy to camp. Takes me a fair while to prepare all the bits, dkuble double check fir that sort if trip? Would also avoid flying for such a short trip. Hassle enough with no gear and a bike. Any way you can ride to doss with some pals in this country? Would minimise what you have to carry, could always do a brief tactical kip en route for a single night. If pals are non cyclists they will of course be so impressed that they will reward you with delectable food, drink, sexual favours whatever. It's a beautiful country. You could also maybe integrate a train hop, though route chosen carefully to minimise bike booking hassles.
