Looking for a new hybrid

Hey CC goers

Just sold my road bike (adios Triban). I'm wanting to go back to a hybrid, but really not sure what to go with.

I've got a budget of about £300-400.

I'm half tempted to go full suspension with the way the roads are getting in Hull, but I think a hybrid will suffice.

What say ye?

Do you mean front suspension? Or rigid forks - if so look for a used bike with a carbon fork to soak up buzz I can heartily recommend one of the Whyte R7 series if you can find used (new £600+ even for an old model)

What are you going to use the bike for?
Commuting?
Do you want to carry things, meaning a rack etc?

Not overly bothered about suspension. It'd be nice, but not required.

Bike would mainly be used for commuting as well as keeping fit.

No rack required.
