Looking for a road bias hybrid

I am looking for a road bias hybrid bike.
I am short so looking for something suitable.
Been looking at Specialized Sirrus and Cannondale Quick range
Budget is up to £700 ish but any chaeper would be a bonus
Any suggestions or advice welcome

I have a sirrus sport and it's fast on my commute but can cope with kerbs and London roads.

Giant rapid? Ash cycles usually have older models

£600 will get you the 2011 or 2012 whyte Cambridge from discount cycles direct. £900 rrp, carbon fork, hydraulic discs. 10kg takes rack and guards

I love my Sirrus Sport commuter. Getting a Sirrus Elite for £299 is incredibly good value, even for a 2 year old model.

Damn, that is good value. I paid £750 for a Sirrus Elite Disk - basically the same bike

If it fits and as they are local, do you need to look any further ?

You get a choices of bits and pieces that come with it, at £300 perhaps you don't.

Looks a bit of a no-brainer - if it fits, should do, its small size.

I actually have a test ride booked on a 2013 Sirrus Elite Disc from Evans Cycles (£600) but that was before I spotted the 2012 non disc model for £299
