I am unable to search for the component I need to enable my gear cable to be properly routed down to the bottom bracket.
This is partly due to me being new to the road bike scene and ignorant to the terminology and partly because I think these are rarely used. The frame is a Principia RCS from the early 2000’s I believe.

I have attached photos for reference. The part I need appears to screw in to a fixture on the side of the down tube in order to hold the gear cable in place.

Any advise on how to fix my gear cables on to this would be very welcome.

Many Thanks

Depends on what gear shifters you are using. Down tube shifters will bolt straight on.
If you are using STI type/brifters you will need these and take off the existing fittings. You can sell them - they are rarer than hen's teeth.
