I had to go to Edinburgh yesterday with a colleague for an internet course authoring day. It finished at 5 and our other workmates (who weren't with us) suggested going into the city and having a look around. We are a bit more active than most of our colleagues, and so went here instead.

What an absolutely outstanding facility you guys have there, amazing! I am used to climbing in Undercover Rock in Bristol, and I was blown away by the scale of the place. If we had known a bit more about it we would have tried to get away earlier and do the ropes course:ohmy:

Do any of you guys go there at all?

We had a corporate event there a couple of years ago, but no climbing. I hear that the Aerial Assault can be exhilarating.

Coco, how many CC ride participants been invited back for tea and cake at the end of the ride in Glasgow??

I was born there, and spent a while working there a few years ago - hated every minute of it. It's fine for a day or two, but I could never live there. I'm a country lad and it's too big and impersonal for me.

But Noodley, one of the good things about Edinburgh is that the country is so close at hand. When I lived in Aberdeen, I really felt trapped because it was so difficult to get away from it with out a car.

That'll be the Tyrolean influence
