Was this the one where they flew into the UK from Ireland, ended up walking along the M6, then the police arrived so they did a runner and were hit by passing vehicles, then one was arrested, the other hospitalised, then the one arrested was released on bail, killed a bloke, then when chased by police jumped off a bridge 40 feet onto a dual carriageway - breaking her legs/ankles?

Scarily enough that sum it up.
They out it down a "bubble of madness" short term insanity. Which tbf can be explained by the 2 of them trying to jump in front of trucks. Its not often I agree with diminished responsibility but on her behalf I could perhaps go with it.
