Bernie Friend "Cycling Back To Happyness" (all about the North Sea Cycle route. Very entertaining)

Josie Dew "Long Cloud Ride" (or any of her books)

I like "Cycling Plus" magazine. You get bit of everything ; technical, interviews, reviews, routes etc.

I highly recommend you get a copy of Graeme Obree's "Flying Scotsman"

Holiday Reads

Downhill all the Way by Edward Enfield - Harry Enfield's dad.

It chronicles his ride from the Channel to the Med and is very entertaining.

there's a few books by Josie Dew (sp?) - a girl that seems to have been all around the world by bike, not bad holiday reading. Or there's another the name of which I can't remember (maybe google could help) of a bunch of blokes cycling across Russia (before Euan, Johnny and the motorbikes)
