Very interested in the Cateye Strada Cadence, partly for the cadence but also because the sensor is supposed to go on the chainstay, so first question, if I was to invest in a magnet designed for aero spokes like either of the Mavic ones...

...would this work? Anybody have any experience of using these magnets with Cateye? Have had issues with the circular steel type on Aero spokes before. I would also prefer rear mounting in order to reduce drag on the front.

What do you all think? Alternatively is there another computer I could use with a rear wheel sensor that anyone knows of?

In my experience, any magnet will do. Also I've not had a problem with Cateye magnets on flat aero spokes as mine has a flat bit to the hole to fit them
