Maintenance course

I'd like to do a maintenance course that covers gear and break set up and general up keep on a road bike.

I'm happy for my LBS to do major fixes but I'd like to do the basics myself.

Is there anyone on the South Wales area that runs courses?

You could also try Pedal Power in Pontcanna http://www.cardiffpedalpower.org/training/cycle_maintenance.html although with the prices that are being quoted for courses, I'd be inclined to use youtube videos and spend the money you save on some tools. I can't see you being shown anything on a one day course that you won't find on the net.

I agree that every thing you need to know can be found on the internet.
A good cycle maintenance book is also very useful such as:-
"The Total Bike Maintenance Book: DIY Repairs Made Easy " by Mel Allwood.
