It was tea, coffee and samosas last year.

I went, and some parts of the meeting were very interesting, but towards the end it got ruined by the beardy sandal wearing greenies (in the audience) who turned on those who also had cars, trying to turn every point and question to their own agenda.

I'll be in the Bristol Pear instead...

I don't think I'd have much to contribute at the moment - as what little experience I have so far has been spent mostly in Solihull. Good luck though, I may come to the next one.

Mr P, is there a web site with any details?

I was there. Saw you pop up and ask your question MrP. Was going to say hello at the end but I spoke to the police for a while and then you looked engrossed in conversation (and I wanted to get home!).

I thought it was mixed really. It was good to hear all the things that Graham Lennard from the council is working on - he seems committed which is great. I was a bit dishearted by the police talk though - about how one officer doesn't feel safe cycling in Birmingham, and also how the wearing or not of hi-viz could be a factor in assigning fault after a car/cycle collision (but you're allowed to drive black cars, right?! - you don't get let off for crashing into them!).

I joined up with push bikes at the end. They all seemed like a good bunch. I particularly liked what Neeraj had to say - she seems on-the-ball and enthusiastic.
