We made a spoon as a bit of light relief on a (albeit not too serious) survival weekend that I attended for a friend's stag. Mine was functional but the aesthetics left a bit to be desired.

spent many an hour whittling spoons. its incredibly good fun.
if you can ever get the opportunity to give it a go i seriously suggest you do ;)
not for those who like to chop their fingers when cutting veg mind. the knives are all very, very sharp and you'll prolly lose a finger.
