Making good from a bad situation (redundancy)

My first week without work after my employers went insolvent.
I sign on next week, insurance is notified so i'll get some dosh next month, savings will easily see me through till my redundancy money comes through, been in touch with some contacts who (hopefully) reliably inform me theres some jobs in my field coming up soon and my experience should stand me well...no more working for sh1t management (although the company owners tough, he's fair, but shame about my direct management), had a nice chat with the owner today, had a chinwag with others at/from work, got some Cvs out to different packing companies....i feel strangely liberated .

Decorated the kitchen today and loved doing it. I havnt felt that way for a few years...i'd always put off decorating.

I feel so good am i headed for a fall

sorry to hear the news gbb , had it happen to me many years ago came back to work after lunch got called in office and told the news , was due to go to states on hols 2 week later so that got cancelled and it took 3 months of temping to find another job , so keep looking .

can always come over and cut the lawn etc etc etc cant promise to pay tho
