Manchester to Blackpool 2013

My wife and I completed the Manchester to Blackpool yesterday in 4 hours 30 mins. For a newbie, and a first big ride we were over the moon with that time. The buzz crossing the finish line with tons of people clapping for you was amazing! Aching now tho!

Following the ride, we both really have the bug for 'long' rides and are now looking for our next one. Potential coast to coast or Manchester 100.

Repeat of the M2B ride at Midnight for the BHF (usually mid to end of Sept). There's something really cool (other than the weather) about riding on almost deserted roads in the middle of the night!

PLus you get to finish in the illuminations!

We are actually thinking of doing the M"B night ride, didnt realise about the illuminations though, that would be cool!
