I am going to Waterstones tomorrow to buy one anyway.Hoping they do a Sustrans one.Titled Yorkshire Wolds York and Hull.

OS Landrangers 106 and 101 cover precisely the areas you have outlined.

but http://www.sustransshop.co.uk/products/5055-ncn-yorkshire-wolds-york--hull

the scale is obviously only 100 000/1 though.

If you lived locally I'd say you could borrow my OS Landrangers. The 50 000 scale is very good.If you're going from York be wary of the section between Dunnington and Stamford Bridge, there's a short section there that's practically an unsigned mudbath. I doubt you'll get lost, past pocklington it's virtually all country lanes.

You may find http://www.sustrans.org.uk/default....763442&map.y=53.9153954413416&bLarge=&nZoom=7 interesting. I'm not a fan of it myself.

Our little team of cyclists is planning a 'tour'.One of three will be chosen.

(a) Coast and Castles

( 4 Days Amsterdam

(c) My favourite,Leeds,Scarborough,Bridlington,Beverley,Humber Bridge,Market Weighton,York,Leeds.

Hence the need for the map reference on the poster.

Coasts in the winter might be brave. Very nice though . Hope you enjoy it. Not been over the Humber Bridge myself yet.
