Does anyone use this and have you got any tips?

Was out today trying it and and its pretty good, I've uploaded the route it tracked and it all seems very accurate including very small detours where I go to look at something,

The only issue I have is I lack a data allowance (I'm PAYG), so whereas it tracked my journey well, and seems to be accurate, whilst 'in the field' its a blank screen as I only had GPS on not data.

Can I download a map from somewhere for it to use without being online?

Bit of a bump and an update for this.

2 more rides sunday, seem to log well (with heights) so so far so good it seems.

Apparently as my phone/app uses Google maps I can extract a map from the site, download to the phone, then use it offline. Anyone know what I'm talking about or have I been told cobblers!?
