Nope, I didn't crash it 
Only had it a few days, but there was something just not quite right about it, manifested mainly in the fact that the drivetrain just was not aligned correctly. Turns out that it was, in fact, the frame that wasn't aligned correctly...
Well, every cloud and all that. There are no more frames available in my size for that bike so Wiggle, to their credit, have offered me an upgrade to the Mares Expert as a gesture of goodwill. It's not ideal as I really did want (and like) the disc brakes. However, the flipside of the coin is that I get carbon forks and a full Ultegra SL groupset. I couldn't really turn it down...
So RIP little Mares Disc. Your life was short but I always remember our time together...
