My old Shimano SPD touring shoes are starting to come apart. The newer Shimanos feel clumsy and heavy, so I have been considering the Mavics. However, BikeRadar gave them a pretty damning report:

Has anyone got these and used them for long rides (100 miles / club rides) - and confirm or deny this?
