Memories of Murphy

I lost Murphy in feb this year and have fond memories of him. He was a rescue and i had him for about 8yrs, I picked him up in Halifax and then went on a 12 week camping expedition all round the Highlands [before its ruination]. Ended up in holiday style cabin and thats where i live now. Had lots of adventures with Murphy and he never left my side in all those years. One of my favourite memories was going out in a boat fishing in the Moray Firth...Murphy loved that he stood in the prow grinning like a canine figurehead! I used to fish a lot for sea trout and Murphy would accompany and wait patiently wherever i went- and then he always had a good run afterwards. He was grand dog and companion

He sure did! We walked miles every day, nothing quite like seeing a lurcher on a beach running for joy!

What a cracking dog!, I think he landed on his paws when you got him, looks to have had 8 years of the good life, that's something to be proud of.
