Hold on hold on! Are you trying to say you were a pro' footballer or summat?in the 80's I wore Patrick, Gola, Arrow, then I wore Mitre in the early 90's always 6 stud but then got a pair of adidas predator bladed studs and since then wore adidas moulded studded boots.
when I was young it was price, the cheaper the better but the studs used to come through and my feet were always sore during the season.
And i bet they were the ones with the elasticated top, instead of the ones with laces.I only had black plimsolls![]()
There was/is something about canvas trainers/shoes that make my feet feel uncomfy. My mum used to say "they draw your feet". What that means i do not know, but to me they are quite uncomfortable.Dunlop "Green Flash" for me.
Er, i just happen to have a brand new pair of those in Royal blueAdidas Beckenbauer were the dream or the copa mundial but they were just too expensive.
You were doing ok till you got to the bit i've highlighted.even when I went for trials in England in 1985-86, I only had cheap boots, I might have been wearing Patrick but its not the boots that make the player, something you'd not understand but when I was paid to play but not professional thats when I eventually had the adidas predator but I was 23-24 but they weren't a cheap boot don't think there was much change from £100.
