Merida Bikes

I have just been down to my LBS to get my bike serviced and he has a huge range of Merida bikes of all varieties. Has anyone got any experience of the Merida brand?

One of my locals sells 'em. They make most of the aluminium frames for the big players- Giant, Spesh etc etc.
