Mesh seat covering

Hi all.
Im thinking of recovering the mesh seat on my recumbent. Can anyone suggest a suitable material. My original seat is starting to rip on one of the corners. Im thinking strong mesh thats breathable laced up at the back. Has anyone re meshed a seat before. Can the material be bought in approx metre square sizes.

Most sail makers have suitable material , John has used trampoline mesh. I cannot remember the "trade name " of the better stuff but is used a lot in the boat trade , Not a cheap rebuild if you take it to a sailmaker - about £60 to stitch it up .

Old sunlounger, or buy a sunlounger. Wilkinsons had them in earlier this month still at £12

....here's how I did mine....

.....simple to do using 1" nylon webbing, topped off with a motorcycle 3D seat cover, and a cushion seat for extra comfort . Breathability is the primary aim as I live in the tropics........

That looks good. Trike looks nice as well. Is it polished aluminium

Im liking the trampolene idea. Every house seems to have one round here. Now where's my stanley knife.

.....the mesh on the backrest is a 3D mesh cover for motorcycles - see them a lot here - without one you could easily suffer 'fried nuts' after parked up in the baking sun - ouch.

....it's made from stainless, as is my LWB - same seat arrangement also.......

i have used the trampoline mesh works quite well but is hard to stitch up at the moment i have a cotton material for out door chairs and it works ok but can be a bit warm. im thinking of trying a neoprene material but im not sure if that will be too warm too
