I've bought cars that cost less than my best bikes. I cycle because I want to, not because I have to. It's just yet another example of the thoughtless prejudice that permeates BHH through Emma Way and such that think there is some link between a bike and inferior social/financial status.

On Tuesday I used the car because SWMBO wanted something taking into Leeds. It was 20 minutes longer into work and 30 longer back for the 10+ mile each way journey.
