Met Office Android widget

It's a lovely bit of free software, but does anyone else find it's wide of the mark?

It's telling me today will be beating sunshine at 23oC!

On the day its reasonably good but forecasts for days in the future are about as good as guesswork. Which is a bit like their forecasts for the BBC which can change substantially between the evening news and the breakfast news broadcasts.

I've not long downloaded it (couple of weeks back maybe?) but it seems pretty good. I don't use the widget, just the app, but it ties up well with my paid for Weather pro one.
Both of mine are forecasting 24C today which I'm very much hoping for as it was a bl**dy cold ride in through the fog in shorts and Summer jersey this morning!

I have it on the desktop of my PC. It shows this yellow glowing thing for the next 5 days with a number alongside in the lower 20,s. What's that all about?

glad i have lightweight overtrousers as it was a little nippy in a short sleeve top riding in this morning. sooo looking forward to the ride home in shorts

I think it's just a glitch. Don't worry, we'll be entering proper "Summer" soon and the mystical Orange ball will be replaced with the familiar clouds and rain icons

Well it turns out the Met office widget was correct, making it fabtabulous after all.
