A little used aluminium Metabikes frame bought from Kinetics in 2012 offered at £450. With the right fork and the supplied disc brakes this can take 700c, 26" or 20" wheels with plenty of clearance for tyres. The kit includes all recumbent specific parts and consists of the following items only:
Frame with adjustable boom, carbon seat (medium size) with aluminium adjustable rear support tubes and seat stays, idler, headset, foam seat pad and steering pivot riser and tiller bars. All cable housing internal to frame will be left in place. (Note: no fork.) There are 3 fore-aft positions for mounting the seat.
Also included: BB7 Road disc calipers, rotors and shimano road brake levers (rear internal cable left in place).
The bike is located near Portsmouth. I don’t want to post but will deliver/rendezvous as far as M25, M42, M5 (i.e. much of the South below Birmingham). A photo of the bike as currently built (with 20" wheels and open cockpit steering) shown below, but will be sold only as kit described above (e.g tiller bars and no fork)
