Ok... watching it on iPlayer. Is it worth perservering with? Alexander Armstrong's portrayal of Clive Sinclair is, so far, horrible. I know it's supposed to be an 'affectionately comic drama' but so far the Clive Sinclair portrayal just seems to be a parody and did they have 50p on the make-up budget?

I'm of the generation that can look back affectionately on Sinclair stuff (I had a Sinclair Scientific calculator - had to enter everything logarithmically...), so is it worth watching?

Definitely - low budget maybe but the story is really interesting, seems a bit harsh on Sinclair - is it justified? Good nostalgia though for those who like that kind of thing. (have to say though, that looks like more of a sci-fi slap head than a real one  )

Enjoyed this immensely; although Alexander Armstrongs prosthetic ginger scalp did look a bit Klingon.

Nice to see a drama/commedy based on the electronics industry. A few things made me laugh, like prototypes not working minutes before unveiling to a customer after having only three days to design and build.

Excellent 80's nostalgia, as I wasted much of my early youth messing about with Spectrums and the like; reading such classic publications as 'Sinclair user' and 'Crash'.

I am sure they picked up on Sir Clives worst character traits - but then he was an ardent 'Thatcherite' .
I have always seen him as a flawed genius who created some iconic products, [even the much maligned C5 trike] .
