Been thinking about building my own winter trainer and have seen a few reviews about microshift groupsets.

having had a quick (and i do mean quick) scout around the web it doesnt seem microshift are too widly available in the uk?

Anyone know any trusted uk sellers and has anyone had any experience of microshift stuff?

Cheers

They are light. A mate uses them on some of his builds and rates them as excellent vfm. The only thing that stopped me buying a groupset a couple of years ago was the cable routing on the gears not being under the bar tape.

My son used Microshift last season on his 650c Moda. It's good stuff - shimano/sram compatible - robust and works well. Ergonomically, it's not too easy to operate the shift buttons from the drops, but fine from the hoods. I would say it's ideal for a winter trainer application.
