• First clipless commute today...
• ... including my first clipless 'off' as I dithered over stopping at the cycle path to cross a road and the car decided to slow - I braked, stopped, forgot to unclip - and toppled.

Other January 'firsts'

• First 'rucksack-less' commute
• First fitting off a rack
• First bag falling off the rack

December saw:

• my first cycle commute
• first consecutive days commute
• first 3 consecutive days commute
• first good soaking
• first nearly running over of a live fox
