Sorry Ed but you don't convince me at all. And for God's sake stop talking like Hardeep Singh Kholi

I quite like Boris - you can't accuse him of being bland and he probably is electable.

NOOOOO!

The problem in London is that you have one very personable, likable candidate with not much in the way of great policies (Boris) and one odious, detestable little scrotum with fantastic policies, especially on transport and infrastructure (Ken).

It's a tough call.

(And the rest. They may actually be a much more balanced alternative, but they don't have the "brand" of the other two)

you might make a case for a politician so obviously devoid of charm being a useful antidote to the parastical infection that is PR. You might..........but I wouldn't. Wittering on about your marriage and your children at a party political conference isn't charming - it's crass.

What really surprises me about Milliband is his plain straightforward refusal to think. A man asked him if the Dutch system of pensions would be considered by Labour if they returned to government http://www.eurofound.europa.eu/emire/NETHERLANDS/STATEOLDAGEPENSION-NL.htm which is a reasonable, decent question. Milliband simply answered no to a different question

I know everyone hated Neil Kinnock, but at least he believed in something and had the courage to stick to it instead of changing his mind every four minutes to please "Middle England".
Kinnock changed his mind on virtually every major policy. He argued against a mixed economy when first an MP, calling for a Socialist state with total nationalisation. He was against Britain's membership of the EU (or Common Market as it then was) and was in favour of unilateral disarmament.

He U-turned on all of them.
