I have to admit I've been putting this off as much as Miss Smoo has never really been bothered about it either, but today out of the blue she announced she wanted the stabilizers off and she wanted to go on the field so she could learn to ride her bike

So I whipped them off and off we went to the field. I have to admit I was nervous that if she had one bad fall the drama queen would win out and that would be that, but, after a couple of runs of being supported, then a couple of rolls down a short slope, all of sudden off she went, just like that:bravo:

Absofreakinlutely chuffed to bits I am. Anyhoo I'm telling anyone who'll listen, and here's some footage for anyone who fancies it. I couldn't easily work out how to edit it, so if you just want the eureka moment then skip to 3:00 minutes in.

Oh and by the way, please ignore the tall fat Peter Kay impersonator in the Beatles t-shirt, not sure how he was

.......but today out of the blue she announced she wanted........

In a short while I can see the post:

Very nice . Definitely a highlight in any person's life. I vividly recall the moment I first rode a bike, even though it was a little while ago . The moral support from doggie was a nice touch.
