Getting old but not past it

I was just leaving my house earlier on when this BMW stopped outside my gate. This young lad got out and said: " Is this number **?"" Yes I said, to which he replied:" I am delivering your bike". In the back of the car, he had a white and green road bike which looked very nice indeed. I was a bit surprised as I had not ordered one. It transpired that he was taking the bike to the next road up but with the same house number. He said his mate was moving to New Zealand and was selling the bike for £475.
At least I know there is another keen cyclist in the next road up from me.
