Been down in London for a couple of weeks. But brought my bike down as well!! Good clean up. Washed everything then oiled it all up AND did the rear clip and new quick release for the seat post, also replaced the handlebar retaining clip. Next up new grips, fancy the ergon ecocork gp1. Also looking out for a 'small' bag for the front...

Presume Brompton?

A Brompton S Bag is not huge but great capacity, otherwise Ortlieb do a smaller one, or if you are into style Brooks do a very fetching honey or black leather one (at eye watering prices) that could attach to the bars, especially if you have S bars?

I wouldn't call it small either. It has a volume of about 19-20l, so not small at all and often way too big.

otherwise Ortlieb do a smaller one,
The Ortlieb Mini is a nice bag, though very expensive, considering it is identical to the way cheaper classical Ortlieb handlebar bag for "normal bikes" apart from the mount for the carrier block. The bigger issue is that the S-bag does not exist anymore and neither does the Ortlieb (apart from some overstock) - Brompton have changed their bag lineup completely in 2020. Have a look on their webpage: https://www.brompton.com/accessories/bags
For the given purpose the borough waterproof small looks like a possible winner and it looks nice, too: https://www.brompton.com/brompton-g...waterproof-bag-small-in-navy/c-24/c-72/p-9622
