I have got an old what apears to be a Brooks B67. It is the sprung sort with a double rail. Or at least it did have a double rail. I have removed (without damaging) one of the rails so that it will fir on the seat stems that I have got. I have seen that modern versions of the B67 come with only a single rail so I thought why not. I've used it a couple of times and it seems fine. I'm just checking to make sure someone doesn't know of some horrendous thing that could happen as a result of my cavalier behaviour.

I understand the B68 is the saddle with double rail. The B67 is the modern version of the B68.

Is it wise? No idea, it's possible you are weakening the support of the saddle but I guess you will have to find that out yourself
